Dr. Dhuna provides evaluation and treatment for complex neurological conditions, on-site Electromyography-Nerve Conduction Studies (EMG/NCVs), administering BOTOX Injections for Chronic Migraines, Spasticity and Dystonia, as well as providing EEG & Sleep Studies interpretations.
Dr. Dhuna received his medical degree from the United Kingdom and completed his Neurology Residency and Epilepsy Fellowship at the University of Minnesota. He is Board Certified in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, Sleep Medicine and Headache Medicine.
He started his private practice in Southeast Iowa in 1994, with a passion for bringing exceptional neurological care to the residents of Southeast and Central Iowa and Central Illinois.
His past experience includes serving as Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Dhuna is presently serving as a Clinical Adjunct Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Iowa, is on the Board of the Iowa Neurological Association as well on the Board of the Education Committee of the American Academy of Neurology. He holds the position of Director of Sleep Lab and EEG Lab at Great River Medical Center, Jefferson County Health Center and Ottumwa Regional Hospital.
Dr. Dhuna and his family have embraced the kindness of the people of Iowa, he raised his 3 children here and considers Iowa home. He looks forward to enjoying long walks with his golden retriever “Moose”.
